John C. Bobber, Jr.

John C. Bobber, Jr., Esq. is counsel at the Yardley, Pennsylvania office of Hill Wallack LLP, where he actively participates in the School Law, Municipal Law, Community Associations, and Trial & Insurance Defense practice groups.

For nearly 30 years, Mr. Bobber has adeptly represented clients in a comprehensive capacity, encompassing both litigation and advisory roles concerning contracts, policy, and administration. He has served as lead trial counsel in jury and bench trials in both federal and state courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, handling cases related to general insurance defense, discrimination, commercial and consumer fraud, personal injury, motor vehicle claims, civil rights, and dealership litigation. He has successfully brought numerous lawsuits to verdict and has arbitrated or mediated over 100 cases. Additionally, Mr. Bobber specializes in school district tax assessment appeals and reverse tax assessments, significantly increasing or conserving millions of dollars in value for school districts. Currently, he represents several local school districts in complex construction litigation, comprehensive investigations, and/or policy advisement to ensure compliance with evolving legal standards.

Mr. Bobber’s expertise extends to representing school districts, governmental entities, universities, insureds, and employers in various human resources and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, and wrongful discharge, at all stages, including cases before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations, and in state and federal courts across Pennsylvania. He also possesses substantial experience conducting independent investigations in employment disputes and is deeply involved in the review and drafting of policies.

Outside his practice at Hill Wallack LLP, John serves as an arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, volunteers in elder law, and is an assistant coach for a local youth softball team.

Mr. Bobber earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice from Penn State University. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of Pennsylvania (1997), the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania, and has also been admitted pro hac vice in Delaware, as well as federal courts in New Jersey and New York.
